Hye guys!!!

For today's class, we are given Module 3(Audio Editing). We are not doing Module 2(Photo Editing) yet because Pn. Foziah not done yet with the compilation. So, we just proceed with Module 3.

There are many Audio Editing Skills that I've learned in Module 3 such as:

-How to Edit Audio(Change Speed)...

-Changing pitch...

-Combine 2 songs...

-Cut and join audio files...

-Cut audio and etc...

Besides, I also have learned about the software that can we use in order to make audio editing.

The examples of the software are:

-Audacity...

-Nero Wave...

-Sony Vegas...

-Sound Forge...

-Music Editor...

It is such a great experience in completing this module because before this, I don't have any knowledge in audio editing. Thanx to Puan Foziah for teaching us in this module. I hope that I can use these skills in order to create an interesting teaching aids that suitable with the pupils' level.

Besides, we also have to complete 2 assignments:

-the collection of technological and non-technological teaching aids for each year(year 1-year 6)...

-4 lessons plans for 4 language skills in English, which two of these assignments will be doing in group of four with different genders and different races...

We can do it!!!

For today's class, our lecturer, Puan Foziah has gave us chances to complete our Module 1 in her class. What a great opportunity!!! Thanx a lot Puan Foziah!!!

So, as the chances given, I've completed my Module 1, as there a lot of remaining assignments that I need to complete. This opportunity is really valuable because I fill my time with something that is beneficial;completed my Module 1.

5th Week(Technological Teaching Aids)...

Hye Guys!!!

For today class, we are required to do some task, where we have to work in pairs with different gender. For this task, I do it with Faiz. For todays task, we are required to find various of technological teaching aids that we can used to teach English.

So, Pn. Foziah has given three topics for each pair. For Faiz and I, we have to find technological teaching aids for:

-Year 1: How to get there?

-Year 2:Show Me The Way...

-Year 3:Working People...

Thus, in order to complete this task, my partner and I have divide our job, where Faiz will do the topic for year 2: Show Me The Way while I did the topic for year 3: Working People and for topic Year 2: Show Me The Way, Faiz and I will do it together.

For me, it is really an interesting experience because other than use actual or hand-made teaching aids, we can also use technological teaching aids that are most interesting and attractive. Furthermore, todays children are more update with technology.

All in all, this task prepare us to be a good and excellent teacher that have knowledge in technology and always update with it...

Hello guys!!!

This morning, our leader, Bahak just called us and said that the class was canceled.
Yahoo! I feel so happy because I felt very sleepy at that time as there are abundance of assignments that need to be finished.

For many nights, I've burned the midnight oil in order to finish my assignment and I use this opportunity wisely, where I make myself has enough sleep and continue with my assignments...

Hello guys!!!

For today class, we have learned about "Teaching English in The Primary Classroom", Chapter 1:" Working With Young Language Learners".

To make things easier, our lecturer has divided us into 6 groups, where each group will get one sub topic for chapter 1 as there are 6 topics in this chapter.

There are 6 chapters such as:
-Children's ability to grasp meaning...
-Children's Creative Use of Limited Language Resources...
-Children's Capacity For Indirect Learning...
-Children's Instinct for Play and Fun...
-The role of imagination...
-The instinct for Interaction and Play...

and my group are required to do the topic;
CHILDREN'S CAPACITY FOR INDIRECT LEARNING...

For our sub topic, it says that children sometimes learning something indirectly instead of direct learning. It is because when the teacher are teaching the pupils, they are think of some other things that related with that topic and the learning not come 100% from the teacher. For example, when the teacher teach on grammar and give some questions, the pupils not just focus on what the teacher taught but he/she more focus on the right answers of the questions. So, they learn grammar by referring to the right and wrong answers.

Then, each group come in front of the class and present our works. It is good to learn this topic because we can know how to deal with pupils and how to conduct a good and effective classroom, as we are going to be a good and excellent teacher...

Together we excel!!!

2nd week(Election,Buying Books& Typing Skills)...

Hello everyone!!!

Last Tuesday was my second time attending class for this subject,PBEY 3102. For the second lecture, we have did some election to choose our leader and treasurer as the class have been divided by two, where the leader and treasurer for Monday's class was Haiqal and Rafidah.

During the election, many names have been nominated and as a result, we have chose Hazwan to be our leader and Dominic as our treasurer. Hazwan and Dominic have started their job on that day and they look so dedicated. I think it was the right choice to elect them,hehe...

Plus, we also have bought some books related to our subject which are; "Teaching English in the Primary Classroom" written by Susan Halliwell and also "Preparing and Using Visual Aids for English Language Teaching" by Noor Azlina Yunus and Hyacinth Gaudart. Interesting isn't it?hehe...

In addition, we also had to fill profile form and answer some questionnaires given. Plus, I have changed my url from eikakakak to atiqahnasarudin since it was an academic blog and must be formal.Pn. Foziah also have given the course pro forma to us, as it contains everything about this subject.

Besides, we also have learned some typing techniques, where it will make us type faster and comfortable. Some of the techniques are by doing touch typing, where we place our left hand side at alphabet 'f' and our right hand side at alphabet 'g'. Another technique is by sitting straight, in order to make us comfortable while typing and avoid backbone pain. As a practice, Pn. Foziah has given some typing exercises for us, where we should do at least 10 minutes in 1 day, in order to make us became expert in typing.

All in all, it was an interesting class because I got a lot of knowledge on that day. Thanks Pn. Foziah.
